Skream arrives at his not-so-difficult sophomore album amidst a maelstrom of media hype Dubstep, the vehicle he's chiefly piloted since its inception, has perhaps reached a zenith with 'Outside The Box', its most commercially orientated and pop honed offering to date With a roll call including La Roux, together with chart-ready Breaks like 'Listenin' To The Records On My Wall', he's obviously aiming way over the heads of his peers and towards the glittering echelons he actually already inhabits So, don't expect an album of deep underground bass weight, although you'll certainly find meditative moments such as the glowing 'Reflections' with his Autonomic buds DBridge and Instra:mental, and there's some grizzly bass on the cyber-stepping 'Fields Of Emotion' The time honoured tricks of the Breaks and Trance, however, emerge in the mid-range emphasis on 'Finally' with La Roux, and on much of the remaining tracks, which will be no bad thing for those of you loving the dubstep crossover
